We are AMES Australasia. Want to join us? About the role: We are currently looking for a Customer Service Officer to join our small team based in Dandenong South. In line with our vision, we pride ourselves with ensuring our customers always have a positive experience when buying our products and liaising with our team. With that in mind, we are looking for somebody who has excellent listening and communication skills, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn our product range! Job tasks and responsibilities: Receive inbound calls (retailers), resolve customer complaints and providing excellent customer service to a range of clients Liaise with Customer's and/or the warehouse to resolve any discrepancies around orders and deliveries Process customer Sales Orders through Pronto, received by EDI, fax, phone and email, for local and interstate orders Coordinating across departments to gather information and provide solutions Maintaining a solid knowledge base of our products Support the customer service team with adhoc projects as and when needed Ongoing data entry/reporting into in-house database systems Skills and experience: Customer service/sales focused with excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional phone manner Highly motivated and committed to deliver a great customer experience Excellent data entry speed and accuracy Experience in EDI order processing would be highly regarded Advanced independent problem solving skills Advanced multi-tasking and time management skills High attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience working in the service industry, particularly in logistics/dispatch or a willingness & aptitude to learn Experience in a similar role managing medium to high volume order processing Advanced skills in MS Office applications would be an advantage Experience with Pronto would be a distinct advantage Experience in similar role in the industry would be a distinct advantage Above all, you'll fit within the AMES family, sharing ideas and enhancing an already strong culture within the business.
