Free parking, onsite cafe Senior Developer The Senior Developer is a new role within our Data and Development team that will be intimately involved in designing and developing applications as well as integrations for our existing system integrations.
You will be a developer who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments and knows how maintain a robust and scalable solution offering to support systems across our national business.
As a Senior Developer you will with technical and business stakeholders to deliver: Innovative integration frameworks, Smart use of Microsoft Azure, DevOps, and other platforms.
Compliance and alignment to Australian Privacy principles.
Scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and integration, and, Ongoing support for existing software and creating new software solutions in response to business needs.
Proven experience in driving organisational change and guiding stakeholders through technology transformation.
A natural ability to build trusted relationships across IT and business teams.
As a Senior Developer, you will take the lead on: Engaging stakeholders early to analyse business needs and processes and assess options for solution development.
Maintaining our compliance with privacy legislation and security best practices in all data work.
Champion the integration of data from clinical, financial, and care platforms to support single data entry across integrated platforms.
Ensuring alignment between business needs, technical solutions, and delivery outcomes.
What You will bring: Strong technical acumen with direct experience in software development and integration principles, distributed systems, and cloud data architecture.
A proven record with data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and modern data stack technologies.
Direct experience with Azure Data Services (e.g. Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Azure SQL).
Ideally Agile Certified (i.e., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or SAFe Agilist) Proven history in implementing data architecture solutions to support analytics and reporting.
Proficiency in C#, Python, SQL, and PowerShell and advance Excel and ideally BI tools.
Influence and relationship-building skills to be a trusted partner across IT and business, able to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
A pragmatic problem solver who is resilient, clear under pressure, and focused on outcomes and value.
