Department for Health and Wellbeing – Commissioning and Performance – Performance Monitoring and Reporting Salary: $98,478 to $104,165 – ASO6 – Full Time / Ongoing appointment Overview: About the role: Contributing to the development, implementation and maintenance of a reporting and performance framework across SA Health including the reporting and monitoring of monthly financial and workforce information that allows compliance with The Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) guidelines. Liaising with DTF regarding reporting requirements. Contributing to the development, implementation and maintenance of a range of complex financial analyses. Preparation of budget adjustments for the SA Health portfolio as part of State Budget processes and assisting in the preparation of forward budget data on a rolling five-year basis. Undertaking and overseeing daily monitoring of SA Health cash balances including forecasting of SA Health cash requirements and the development of cash management improvement processes. About You: You are an experienced financial professional with strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset. You excel in driving performance and innovation in complex organisational environments, with a proven ability to manage change and inspire collaborative teamwork. Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders on complex financial matters. Advanced skills in financial analysis, modelling, reporting, and ability to perform research and analysis of financial and non-financial data, trends and outcomes and utilise database tools to generate reports and information for management to review. Proven ability to set and manage priorities, achieve outcomes under significant pressure and operate effectively in a politically sensitive environment. Proven experience in management and financial accounting. About us: Within the Commissioning and Performance division of the Department for Health and Wellbeing, the DTF Reporting team sits within the Performance Monitoring and Reporting unit and is responsible for developing and maintaining the reporting and performance framework across SA Health Portfolio, ensuring compliance with Department of Treasury and Finance guidelines. The team analyses SA Health Portfolio monthly financial results and year end forecasts, including their linkage to key non-financial performance indicators. It also provides critical reporting and advice to the Department of Treasury and Finance, ensuring the timely delivery of meaningful SA Health Portfolio financial information, policy advice and explanations, as well as overseeing cash management, forecasting and disbursements across the SA Health Portfolio.
