General information
Location: Port Gregory Mine Site
Roster: 7 days on / 7 off (10hrs per day)
Hours : Average 35 hrs per week
Residential only - NO FIFO for this role.
GMA will be prioritising applicants who have a current right to work in Australia, and do not require GMA sponsorship of a visa.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor will be required to attend breakdowns and first response problem solving in the field along with scheduled maintenance of our mine site fleet.
Perform scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and component change outs in line with OEM specifications on a range of HD Mining equipment including Volvo, CAT and Komatsu .
Diagnosing faults accurately and safely
Promptly responding to breakdowns in the field
Meet maintenance deadlines and contribute to workshop efficiency
Reporting emerging issues or faults to management
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.
Auto Electrical and air con diagnostics and repair experience advantageous
You must have excellent attention to detail
ESSENTIAL / DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (HD Diesel Mechanic or equivalent).
HR license essential
Air con ticket desired but not essential
Strong commitment to safety and a continuous improvement culture.
