We are now seeking an experienced Site Engineer - Maintenance to join our team working on critical maintenance activities and upgrade works across Melbourne’s iconic CityLink and the new West Gate Tunnel. What you’ll bring Ideally, you will possess a Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering and experience managing Maintenance projects in the fields of civil, structural, mechanical and electrical along with; Exposure to the preparation of project budgets and review of financial information to make sound business decisions Knowledge of infrastructure maintenance and a proven ability to document scopes of work Capability in planning and scheduling of works Demonstrated ability to support projects and deliverables Ability to support the preparation of tenders and negotiate contracts A reputation based on trust by delivering on promises with excellence while focusing on safety, value for money and efficiency Strong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of actively promoting and sustaining a Zero harm environment Downer is a company that believes people are our greatest asset.
