Our Supply Chain is the backbone of our success, driven by passionate and innovative people. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing Paints Australia's portfolio with its coatings raw material supplier base and procurement's interface with Paints Australia Marketing, R&D, and Operations for the Sales & Operations Planning process.
About Your Role
1. You will manage a core set of suppliers for the Woodcare business and act as the key point of contact for procurement-related enquiries and support.
2. Attend NPD project meetings and provide procurement inputs, including conducting business modeling and forecasting activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure the best support, pricing, and service levels from suppliers.
2. Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to drive the raw materials and NPD agenda across the Coatings SBUs.
3. Field queries from internal teams regarding your category and understand the impact of global supply chains on projects and timelines.

Your Qualifications and Experience
1. A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Accounting, or Science.
2. Proven operational procurement and vendor management experience, ideally in the manufacturing industry.
3. Experience negotiating with suppliers to drive efficiencies.
4. Strong practical experience using MS Excel for analysis.
5. SAP/Ariba experience is advantageous.
