What You'll Do
You'll guide young people who are starting their journey into work or training.
You'll be the person who listens, encourages, and helps them see what's possible.
This position is based in Bairnsdale for 2 days per week, with regular outreach travel to Lakes Entrance for 2 days per week and Orbost for 1 day per week.
A pool car is available from the Bairnsdale site for all work-related travel.
* Offer one‑on‑one coaching and support
* Help participants uncover their strengths and career interests
* Build connections with local employers and training providers
* Link young people with training pathways (Certificate III and above)
* Get out into the community to grow networks and create impact
You'll also plan and run engaging group activities— from creative sessions like art and painting, to hands‑on cooking classes, and even practical workshops such as how to shop on a budget. No two days look the same, and you'll have the freedom to make each session fun and meaningful.
About You
You don't need experience in employment services to succeed — we can teach you that.

* Able to travel within the region (driver's licence required)
