About the Role
The JBS Carriers team are seeking an experienced MC Linehaul Driver to join our team based out of Ipswich.
Key responsibilities:
* Ensuring efficient operation of the Prime Mover and associated equipment
* Completing daily pre-start checks on vehicles before operating
* Ensuring compliance with all Road Transport Requirements and NHVR
* Complying with all aspects of laws related to the Chain of Responsibility
* Adhering to Workplace Health and Safety Requirements
* Operating under Basic Fatigue Management (BFM)
About You
* Hold a current Multi-Combination (MC) Driver's License
* Previous experience as an MC Driver (ideally 2 years)
* Sound Traffic History Report (last 5 years)
* Proven experience in operating a B-double including hooking & unhooking and backing onto docks
* Ability to work across a 7-day period including weekends
* Hold a Basic Fatigue Management Certification
* Current Drivers Medical
* Knowledge of the above locations advantageous
