We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Warranty Clerk to support our Service and Warranty teams while developing the skills required to become a certified Warranty professional.
About The Role
As a Trainee Warranty Clerk, you will learn to manage the administrative and compliance aspects of the warranty process while working closely with experienced Service, Workshop, and Parts staff. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, a passion for the automotive industry, and a desire to grow their career with a premium brand.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the preparation and submission of warranty claims to Mercedes-Benz.
* Support the review of repair orders, technician notes, and parts usage for accuracy and compliance.
* Learn and follow manufacturer warranty guidelines and dealership procedures.
* Maintain warranty files and documentation to audit-ready standards.
* Work with the Service and Parts teams to resolve claim discrepancies.
* Assist in tracking claim statuses and following up outstanding items.
* Provide general administrative support to the Service Department.
About You
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively.
* Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
* A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in the automotive industry.
* Previous administrative experience is advantageous but not essential.
