Job Responsibilities
* Entry and/or validation of purchase orders and orders into the JDA WMS
* Liaise with clients, carriers and internal stakeholders in relation to shipping requirements and documentation
* Ensure that all delivery dates are adhered to in order to ship goods on time and in full
* Coordinate the flow of timely information to and from customers and escalate issues with a high sense of urgency
* Communicate with warehouse personnel to ensure orders are picked, packed and staged in a timely manner
* Use initiative to find customer focused solutions
* Develop relationships with freight carriers and key customers
* Actively engage in a culture of business improvement
* Assist customers with tracking status of consignments when required
* Maintain procedural forms and documentation and table file data maintenance in the JDA system
* Processing Requests for Changes for documents on the QMS system
* Record internal and external complaints on QIRs
* Take immediate corrective action and initiative to resolve customer complaints, prevent non‐conformance recurrences and advise client of resolution progress/outcome
* Identify and report any unsafe work practices
* Ensure all activities are undertaken in accordance with Chain of Responsibility and Health and Safety and Environmental regulations and requirements
* Other duties as specified by the Contract Logistics Manager
* Deal with clients and staff in a friendly and professional manner
* Wear safety/protective clothing as required
* Other tasks and responsibilities which may be assigned as and when required by supervisor/manager
Qualifications & Skills
* Excellent communication skills, both professional and friendly
* Advanced, proven working knowledge in MS Office
* Be a team player, yet also able to work autonomously
* Thrive in a challenging environment where multi‐tasking is a must
