$322 per day
Additional amounts are paid for time spent on exercises and deployments.
For this role, you must:
Be at least 17 at the time of enlistment and an Australian Citizen.

Be reasonably fit and healthy. Keeping fit is a big part of joining the ADF. You’ll need to pass a physical fitness test before you join, but don’t worry, we'll give you tips to help you prepare.
Be able to successfully obtain a security clearance.
For the specific roles, you must:
General Surgeon:
Be fully qualified and unconditionally registered as a General Surgeon with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) in a state or territory of Australia.
Orthopaedic Surgeon:
Be fully qualified and unconditionally registered as an Orthopaedic Surgeon with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) in a state or territory of Australia.
Psychologist:
Be registered as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and currently working as a Psychologist with a civilian employer.
