THE ROLE:
Voted Australia's Best Family Resort 15 years in a row, Paradise Resort is currently seeking a Pizza Chef to join the team
As a Pizza Chef at Paradise Resort, you'll be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality pizzas with speed and consistency, while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, knows their dough, and takes pride in producing great pizza every service.
The successful applicant will possess the ability to perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
* Prepare and serve food to the highest quality within a very fast paced kitchen
* Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic work environment
* Comply with all Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
* Maintain stock control and rotation
* Possess excellent product knowledge
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role
* Commercial Cookery Qualification – Cert III or IV (desirable)
* Ability to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
* Passion for finer presentation, diligent plating and culinary excellence
* The ability to work effectively and efficiently within a fun and hard working team of chefs
* Proven experience in working well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
