1. Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the VCE Study Designs (Accounting, Economics, and Business Management), incorporating real-world scenarios, case studies, and multimedia tools to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
* Teach core subject content, including accounting principles, economic theories and trends, and business management practices, while fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
* Design, deliver, and assess coursework such as SACs, projects, class activities, and practice exams using a balanced approach of formative and summative assessment strategies.
* Provide timely, constructive feedback and tailored exam preparation support to help students achieve their academic goals.
* Collaborate with faculty colleagues, department leaders, and cross-curricular teams to align curriculum, share best practices, and contribute to a culture of academic excellence.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment that encourages student engagement, cooperation, and achievement.
* Support co-curricular initiatives, including student involvement in competitions, enrichment programs, and broader school activities.
* Engage in ongoing professional learning to remain current with curriculum changes, subject developments, and evolving teaching methodologies.
