**_Key responsibilities: _**
- Providing accountable and collaborative casework that respects the unique culture and context of each child, young person, family, and community. This approach relies on timely and accurate information sharing to address their specific needs effectively.
- Conducting assessments and investigations while engaging in ongoing family work to identify and address safety and risk concerns concerning children and young individuals.
- Establishing strong relationships within practice and legislative frameworks to foster positive changes within families and ensure the safety of children and young people.
- Creating and sustaining networks and connections with key stakeholders to deliver suitable services for children, young people, and families.
- Actively participating in and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and professional development to ensure that one's practice knowledge and skills remain up-to-date and evidence-based.
- Maintaining precise and relevant client records for reporting and information exchange purposes.
- Involving family members and key stakeholders in decision-making processes concerning children and young individuals to achieve an appropriate balance between risks, safety, and overall well-being.
**_About You:_**
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
- Tertiary qualification in a Social Work, Psychology, Social Science Welfare or related discipline with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
- Current driver's licence
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, including demonstrated capacity to provide a high level of client contact service and the ability to work within a team
- Previous experience within case work or community services
- Strong attention to detail
- Capacity to work well within an environment of fluctuating workloads and changing priorities
This is a temporary position offering full-time hours of 35 hours per week.
