Workshop / Reconditioning Controller
Driven Auto Group is a proud, family-owned dealership with over 15 years of history in the Rockingham community. With our new undercover sales yard open we need to prepare even more late model vehicles to a high standard ready for sale.
We are currently looking for an organized, high-energy Workshop / Reconditioning Controller to join our team. This is a critical role focused on the heartbeat of our dealership: getting our stock from \"just arrived\" to \"showroom ready.\"
The Role
Your primary mission is to manage the flow of vehicles through the reconditioning process. You will be the bridge between the sales floor and the workshop, ensuring every vehicle is prepared efficiently and to a high standard for retail sale.
Key Responsibilities:
* Workflow Management: Oversee the end-to-end reconditioning process for all incoming stock.
* Quality Control: Ensure every vehicle meets our strict mechanical and cosmetic standards before hitting the yard.
* Sublet Coordination: Manage relationships and schedules with internal & external specialists (paint, dent repair, detailers, etc.).
* Small-Scale Retail: Handle a limited volume of retail service work, including routine servicing and warranty repairs.
* Parts & Logistics: Order necessary parts and track arrivals to minimize \"down time\" for stock.
Work-Life Balance

* Monday to Friday ONLY.
* No Saturdays, no Sundays.

About You
The ideal candidate is someone who loves the logistical puzzle of a busy workshop and takes pride in a perfectly prepared vehicle.
* Experienced: Previous experience in workshop or service coordination (Service Advisor or Controller background is highly regarded).
* Organized: You can track multiple vehicles at different stages of repair without breaking a sweat.
* Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using automotive software and management systems.
* Communicator: Ability to work closely with technicians and the sales team to meet deadlines.
* Local Knowledge: A background in the Rockingham automotive scene is a definite plus.
