**We are actively recruiting for this role in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.**
**Job tasks and responsibilities**
- Repair, refurbish, recondition, maintain, install, test and fault find mechanical and electrical faults on machinery of Headland customers;
- A desire to expand mechanical/ electronic skills across Headland Machinery product range
- A willingness to travel to customer sites, locally and Interstate if required
- Build and maintain positive service relationships with Headland customers, to ensure that customer satisfaction objectives set by the business are met and exceeded
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and other written technical instructions
- Participate in machinery exhibitions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with a genuine commitment to high level customer service
**Skills and experience**
- A TRUMPF trained and certified engineer
- Three years experience in a similar role is required
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a Diploma/Degree involving Mechanical or Electro-mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant trade tickets, licenses and product certifications
- Willingness to learn new skills by undertaking training on the machinery we sell and service
- Ability to work under pressure to deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Experience and technical knowledge of CNC machines is advantageous
- Experience and technical knowledge of automated storage systems/lifts/elevators is advantageous
- Experience in Sheet Metal Industry is required
- Experience with Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenhain and TRUMPFwill be highly regarded
**Job benefits and perks**
Salary package for the position starts from $80,000.00, depending on work experience.
