As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading maintenance activities, managing a team of skilled technicians, and ensuring the overall efficiency and reliability of the production equipment.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement effective preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of performance and expertise.
Collaborate with other departments to schedule and plan maintenance activities to minimise impact on production schedules.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
Analyse equipment performance data and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall efficiency.
Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective practices and efficient resource allocation.
Collaborate with vendors and contractors to source necessary equipment and services.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, fostering a culture of safety among maintenance personnel.
Proven track record as a Maintenance Manager in a manufacturing environment, preferably food or dairy;
Proficiency using CMMS, preferably SAP;
Excellent leadership and people management skills;
Tertiary Engineering qualifications, Mechanical, Electrical or similar.
