This position will contribute to the overall growth and success of the program by empowering participants and potential participants to make informed decisions about their journey with IEA
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning and Logistics Coordination:
Plan and coordinate a variety of events and workshops for participants, including:
Information sessions
Pop up stalls
Social events
Develop engaging agendas and program outlines for each event.
Source and secure venues, speakers, and other resources as needed.
Promote events through effective marketing and communication strategies.
Oversee event logistics, including registration, audiovisual equipment, catering, booth setup and cleanup at venues such as shopping centres and childcare centres.
Ensuring each region has a calendar of marketing engagement
Marketing support-material preparation and distribution:
Prepare and package materials for distribution at events and through other channels.
Ensure that materials are visually appealing and easy to understand.
Develop a system for tracking and distributing materials effectively.
Build brand assets stockpile of material (such as Good news stories, testimonials, employer stories, etc) that we can activate for important dates (such as IDPWAD) and also use as part of a calendar of engagement on social media platforms in the form of reels, stories etc
Community and Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with program staff, participants, and community partners to identify resource needs and priorities.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to foster collaboration and support.
Seek feedback from participants to improve resources and events.
Evaluation and Reporting:
Collect and analyse data on resource usage and event attendance.
Prepare regular reports on the effectiveness of resources and events.
Use evaluation findings to inform future planning and resource development.
Other additional duties may include:
Resource Development
Identify and develop a range of resources, including:
Visual aids (e.g., posters, infographics)
Ensure that resources are engaging, accessible, and culturally appropriate.
Regularly review and update resources to maintain relevance and accuracy.
About You
You are organised, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
With a certificate or degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or relevant experience in events or hospitality, you bring strong organisational and excellent customer service, and a collaborative mindset.
You're a great communicator who can build relationships with diverse stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing needs, including occasional travel.

Selection Criteria
Certificate IV in Marketing and Communications, or a related field.
Experience in resource development, event planning, or project management.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is desirable.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and effective communication strategies.
