School Psychologist – Goulburn South Public School (0000B7K0) is a full‐time (1.0 FTE) position located at Goulburn South Public School. The role supports the Department's school counselling service by providing individual and group counselling, psychological assessments, and consultation with staff, students and families to enhance learning and wellbeing outcomes.

Remuneration
Package valued up to $182,461 + incentives (where applicable). Base salary ranges from $101,122 – $160,983, plus leave loading and the employer's contribution to superannuation. Salary rates above the minimum are available, dependent on professional experience.

Key Accountabilities
* Provides counselling and psychological services to students, individually and in groups.
* Engages with the Professional Practice Framework for the NSW School Counselling Service.
* Works with the principal, staff and support services to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes.
* Supports complex behavioural needs through assessment, intervention and collaboration with learning and support teams, parents/careers, and external agencies.
* Administers cognitive, social, emotional and behavioural assessments; reports results; collaborates to improve outcomes.
* Responds to serious incidents as part of the school team.
* Refers students or families to other agencies to support health and wellbeing.
Essential Requirements
* Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy, Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG Inc. and the Diversity and Inclusion Strategy.
* General or Provisional Psychology Registration with active internship with the Psychology Board of Australia.
* Valid and current Working with Children Check clearance – NSW.
* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between work sites.
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
