We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide high-quality care and support services for older people and veterans in their own homes. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in empowering our clients to live safely and enjoy their independence.
Main Responsibilities
* Assist with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, shopping, and transportation to appointments.
* Provide companionship and social interaction through activities, outings, and events.
* Offer personal care services including grooming, hygiene, bathing, and dressing.
* Support clients with health conditions, providing skin care, medication reminders, and diabetes management assistance.
* Assist with mobility and domestic tasks, such as cleaning and laundry.
Requirements
* A empathetic and respectful approach to service delivery.
* Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or equivalent experience).
* Self-motivation and ability to work effectively in teams and independently.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Current driver's license and reliable vehicle.
* Current national police check (not older than 6 months).
