Volunteer Opportunity: Enhancing Seniors' Experience
A leading aged care provider in Western Australia is seeking a dedicated volunteer to assist staff in enhancing the experience of residents on Friday evenings.
1. Selecting and Setting Up Movies: Assist in selecting and setting up movies for residents, providing an engaging and entertaining experience.
2. Providing Companionship: Offer companionship to residents during movie sessions, promoting social interaction and reducing feelings of loneliness.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong commitment to supporting seniors. A minimum commitment of six months is required. Volunteers will receive necessary training to support this enriching role.
