**ABOUT IRVINE WINES**

**THE ROLE**
- Coordinate and execute unique and premium functions, events, and vineyard tours
- Managing small-scale accommodation arrangements
- Coordinate and oversee wine events including wine shows, wine tastings, trade shows, and vineyard tours.
- Oversee events held over a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings, and public holidays. Flexibility in working hours is a must.
- Assist with marketing functions including EDM creation, social media management and wine club engagement
- Must be willing and available to travel domestically when required
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Wine Education**
- Provide formal and informal wine/brand education and training for distributors, trade, consumers, and the press.
- Act as the brand's 'product expert', promoting and educating employees about the product using superior brand and category knowledge.
- Liaise with winemaking, viticulture, and marketing teams to further develop the education toolkit.
**Advocacy**
- Develop and manage a social media community (consumers/key contacts in trade, media).
- Build digital engagement programs including blogging and digital content creation in collaboration with marketing.
**Sales**
- Support sales and trade teams to gain listings and activate channels.
- Engage both on and off-premise customers.
**Trade and Consumer Events**
- Support local teams by organising, implementing, and representing the brand at trade and consumer events.
- Propose, present, and initiate new marketing experiential activities.
**Reporting**
- Provide market intelligence and information on competition as required.
- Monitor price analysis and sales performance.
- Report on brand performance and identify commercial opportunities.
- Proactively communicate learnings from the field and actively communicate best practices.
**PERSONALITY AND SKILL SET REQUIREMENTS**

- Ability to oversee the full function and event cycle, including securing events, negotiation, quotation, contracts, deposits, and matching clients' needs to the correct event creation and follow-up
- Marketing degree or relevant experience is highly regarded
- Ability to work both in a small team and autonomously
- Must have a valid driver's license, ability to drive manual advantageous but not mandatory
- Must have a current RSA certificate or be willing to obtain one
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 30 per week
