Responsibilities

• Structures
  • Production, maintenance and sheet metal repair
  • Composite and bonded structure repairs
  • Structural modifications and inspections
• Mechanical
  • Hydraulic, pneumatic and environmental systems
  • Propulsion‐related system components
  • Aircraft mechanical servicing and fault rectification
• Avionics
  • Fault diagnosis and maintenance of avionics systems
  • Electrical and integrated aircraft systems
  • Compliance with technical publications and certification requirements

Qualifications and Requirements

• Certificate IV in Aeroskills trade or equivalent (Mandatory)
• Australian Citizenship (Mandatory)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance and ITAR (Mandatory)
• Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset
• Ability to work in high‐performance team environments
• Equivalent aircraft maintenance trade qualifications may be considered on a case‐by‐case basis depending on how they align with the current Certificate IV in Aeroskills apprenticeship training standard
• International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable; nationality may be a factor in determining suitability
