We are seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to lead and enhance our health, safety, environmental, and quality practices across Melbourne-based projects.
Role Overview
As the HSEQ Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and continual improvement of our HSEQ systems. You'll ensure full compliance with industry regulations and client expectations while fostering a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all project teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality across multiple project sites.
* Develop, implement, and maintain ISO-certified HSEQ management systems.
* Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations; ensure corrective actions are implemented.
* Work closely with project teams to ensure safe work practices are embedded during planning and execution.
* Liaise with clients, principal contractors, and regulatory bodies on HSEQ matters.
* Deliver training and toolbox talks to promote a proactive safety culture.
* Track performance through KPIs, reporting, and data analysis to drive improvements.
* Stay up to date with legislative and industry developments, ensuring company compliance.
Skills & Experience Required
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in a HSEQ leadership role within the construction or electrical contracting sector.
* Experience working on large-scale commercial, data centre, infrastructure, or hospital projects highly desirable.
* Cert IV or Diploma in WHS/OHS (minimum),
* Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001.
* Proven ability to influence and drive a positive safety culture across all levels of an organisation.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
