Job Overview
As a skilled Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating cranes to lift, transfer, and place loads within the working range and safe lifting capacity of the crane.
* Conduct thorough assessments of the ground prior to setting up or lifting with the crane to ensure optimal safety and stability.
* Regularly inspect crane mechanisms and lifting accessories to prevent malfunctions or damage and maintain their integrity.
* Verify that the crane is level on the outriggers and all safety mechanisms are operational before attempting to lift and place a load.
* Adhere to strict protocols by shutting down and leaving the crane in a safe manner at all times when leaving the crane unattended.
To excel in this role, you will need to possess a High Risk Work License (C1), a Working at Heights Construction White/Blue Card, a Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence, and have the desired qualifications of a High Risk Work Licence - Forklift and High Risk Work Licence - EWP.
