About The Role
Are you ready to take the next step in your career? This is more than a promotion — it’s your chance to take ownership of a regional laboratory, lead from the front, and help grow the business. We’re looking for a practical, motivated leader who’s comfortable being hands-on and accountable for results.
This is a small lab (one or two people), so it’s a genuinely hands-on role. You’ll manage daily testing schedules, support one team member, oversee workflow, budgets and client relationships — while remaining actively involved in testing and site work. It’s also a strong opportunity to expand the lab’s footprint.
We’re after someone with drive and initiative — keen to be hands on, strengthen client partnerships, and deliver sustainable growth.

We are looking for
5+ years of CMT experienceExcellent people skills - Managing clients, managing staffComprehensive understanding of both field and laboratory operations2 years experience with NATA signatory approvalsPrior signatory experienceProficiency in Australian Standards for Soil and Aggregate testingValid drivers’ licenceNuclear Density Meter operator's licence (QLD preferred)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsCapacity to mentor and support staff membersCommercial experience (preferred)
