Our client is a large, diverse financial services firm seeking a Change Manager to join their Melbourne or Sydney office, working on a high-profile Risk & Compliance project.
Scope of Work:
Reporting to the Program Director & Chief Compliance Officer, you will join our client’s Regulatory Change Project Management Office to support the delivery of risk and regulatory remediation programs. You will work closely with a team of experienced risk and compliance professionals. Your main stakeholders will be across the first and second lines both in Australia and offshore, supporting the delivery of remediation risk programs and activities.
This Change Manager role supports the development, build, and rollout of compliance and risk training specific to our client’s Australian business, within the Compliance function, reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead working groups in defining, documenting, and delivering business impacts across all phases of change initiatives
* Utilize influencing and persuasion skills to successfully implement change and influence decision-making with key stakeholders in a diverse, matrix environment
* Collaborate with Senior Management on strategic change scope and implementation
* Present at Steering Committees and meetings regarding change activities
* Implement process improvements with problem-solving and business analysis skills
* Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills to influence and negotiate with stakeholders
Required Experience:
* Proven relationship-building and management skills
* Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
* Program, Project, and Change Management experience
* Knowledge of the Asset Management industry
* Relevant experience with regulatory change, managing projects, or leading large initiatives within a large, global organization, preferably in Financial Services
* Leadership in regulatory evaluation, execution, and compliance at a global asset management firm
* Experience in the banking sector, especially in risk or compliance, is highly desirable
This position offers a competitive hourly rate (variable based on prior Change Manager experience), and you will be employed as an on-site contractor via Anton Murray Consulting, working directly with our client.
