* Darwin - Part-time 0.6 FTE (3 days per week) - Fixed term 4 year contract
Darwin Community Legal Service (DCLS) is seeking an NTACLC Coordinator to support the NTACLC, the peak body representing Community Legal Centres across the Northern Territory.
This part-time role will support coordination and development of the NT legal assistance sector through collaboration, training, policy work and stakeholder engagement.
About the Role
You will work with NTACLC member organisations to:
* coordinate sector meetings and initiatives
* support training and workforce development
* administer a small grants program
* assist with sector projects and events
* support development of submissions and policy responses
* engage with government and national peak bodies
* provide secretariat support to NTACLC governance processes
You will also assist with reporting required under the NTACLC Operational Plan and NAJP Funding Agreement.
About the Arrangement
You will be employed by Darwin Community Legal Service under an auspicing arrangement.
You will receive strategic direction from the NTACLC Steering Committee in relation to funded deliverables, with line management provided by DCLS.
About You
You will have:
* experience coordinating projects or sector initiatives
* strong written communication skills
* Proven experience in engaging with a range of stakeholders
* Proven experience in research and drafting policy papers or submissions
* ability to administer grants or coordinate project expenditure
* Proven experience of strong organisational skills
* ability to work independently
* competent computer skills
* a current NT Driver Licence
Salary and Benefits
Salary based on SCHADS Award Level 6.1 to 6.3 depending on skills and experience.
DCLS offers above award wages, salary packaging, six weeks annual leave (pro rata), flexible working arrangements and time in lieu.
