Description
Followmont Transport is seeking a dedicated and responsible Local MC Driver to become a key part of our Cairns team. If you take pride in delivering high-quality work with attention to detail, this could be the perfect role for you! We are looking for a reliable individual to handle the secure pick-up and delivery of a Bulk freight, all while adhering to our established rules and regulations.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Position: Full-time, Permanent
- Hours: 7am Start Monday to Friday (guaranteed hours)
- Location: Local Cairns region
- Responsibilities:
- Complete pickups and deliveries of Bulk general freight
- Safely and efficiently manage deliveries on time and in full
- Work in a Steady Paced Environment while consistently maintaining a high standard of safety and accuracy
- Adhere to established rules, regulations, and processes to ensure smooth operations
- Great hourly rates + overtime available + weekend penalty rates
- Full Time position from Day 1 - annual leave, sick pay, guaranteed hours!

Qualifications
- 12 months experience in a similar role in a structured environment
- Must hold a current MC Licence
- Forklift Licence is desirable but not mandatory
- A professional mindset with a strong sense of accountability and commitment to meeting goals
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, and criminal history check
