Project Technical Specialist
The Project Technical Specialist will provide expert support in the planning, coordination, and delivery of estate works projects across Defence sites. Working within PAS Technical Services, they will ensure data integrity, compliance, and operational excellence throughout the project lifecycle – from scoping and design to handover and defect resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Coordination: Assist in planning and development phases, ensuring timely access to necessary resources, data, and facilities for successful execution.
* Lifecycle Support: Oversee project phases including scoping, design, construction, and Defects Liability Period (DLP), guaranteeing timely issue resolution.
* Data Management: Ensure accurate capture and maintenance of asset data from project initiation through to Handover/Takeover (HOTO).
* Stakeholder Engagement: Act as coordinating agent for Defence during key project milestones, including pre-construction meetings and defect inspections.
* Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with PSS Coordinators, Spatial Data Coordinators, and Document Controllers to align efforts and meet project deliverables.
* Site Access Facilitation: Leverage established relationships to ensure smooth access and progression of works.
* Governance and Quality: Maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance with governance requirements across all project documentation.
* Continuous Improvement: Promote innovation and efficiency in project support services, contributing to a culture of operational excellence.
* Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) Participation: Actively engage in safety briefings, toolbox talks, and model strong safety behaviour across all activities.
