Research Opportunity
Join a dynamic research team to explore the fascinating world of polarons in ultracold atomic gases and complex quantum materials.
* The project focuses on revealing how polarons interact and influence both few-body and many-body quantum phenomena.
By harnessing ultracold atoms as highly controllable quantum simulators, the research aims to deepen our understanding of polaron behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the development of advanced theoretical frameworks for studying polaron interactions.
* Analyze spectral signatures to identify exotic quantum phases.
* Work with numerical simulations to model and predict polaron behavior.
Requirements:
* Strong foundation in theoretical quantum physics, with expertise in ultracold gases or condensed matter systems.
* Experience with numerical simulations and programming languages such as Python or MATLAB.
* Motivation and genuine interest in fundamental research.
Qualifications:
* Master's or Honours degree in a relevant field.
Additional Information:
* Appointment is subject to passing a Working with Children Check.
