Remote Healthcare Professional Opportunity
As part of a unique workforce program, we are seeking an experienced Registered Midwife/RN to provide culturally safe care in remote Northern Territory communities.
* This locum-based role offers short-term placements where you will work on-site in remote clinics, delivering high-quality treatment in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners and support staff.
The NT Remote Locum Program is dedicated to strengthening healthcare services in remote communities across the Northern Territory. We aim to develop the skills and expertise of our midwives while providing opportunities for personal growth and cultural immersion.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Evidence of unrestricted registration as a registered nurse and registered midwife.
* A minimum of 3 years postgraduate experience in midwifery.
* A minimum of 2 years postgraduate experience as a registered nurse.
* 250 hours of relevant clinical experience within the past 12 months.
* Current CPR/BLS certification.
* Current recognised Immunisation certificate.
* A current Northern Territory Working with Children's Card (or willingness to obtain).
