Job Description
NCS is seeking a Business Analyst to join an internal delivery team supporting a major finance systems transformation for a large, complex organisation. The engagement focuses on upgrading a core ERP platform from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, with an emphasis on improving finance processes and supporting business readiness for change.
You will work closely with finance users, technology specialists, and delivery partners to understand existing processes, document current ways of working, and help shape improved future processes supported by the new system. The role will also contribute to data readiness activities, support testing and issue resolution, and help prepare clear documentation and materials to support business users through the transition.
This is a 6‐month contract role, well suited to a Business Analyst who is comfortable operating in structured environments with formal governance, multiple stakeholders, and clearly defined delivery timeframes.
Qualifications
* Proven experience working as a Business Analyst on ERP, finance system, or large system change initiatives
* Experience analysing and documenting current‐state processes and supporting transition to improved future processes
* Exposure to SAP environments, with S/4HANA experience advantageous but not essential
* Experience supporting testing activities, such as User Acceptance Testing, including scenario preparation and issue support
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing clear, user‐friendly documentation
* Ability to work effectively with finance teams and non‐technical stakeholders
* Comfortable working within structured, delivery‐focused environments with defined processes and controls
