About the Role
As Sous Chef, you’ll be second-in-command in the kitchen, supporting our Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, including:
* Leading the team during service and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
* Mentoring and training junior chefs to achieve their best.
* Contributing to menu development and upholding the quality of every dish.
* Overseeing stock control, ordering, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role.
* Passion for creating innovative dishes using fresh, local ingredients.
* Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire.
* A collaborative approach, with a commitment to maintaining a positive kitchen culture.
* Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Remuneration
This full-time role offers a competitive salary above the Restaurant Industry Award, recognising your skills and experience.
