Job Summary
We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Head of SOC Engineering to lead the design, development, and implementation of a cutting‑edge Agentic SOC and Next‑Generation SOC framework across the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the vision for an Agentic SOC integrating AI, machine learning, and automation.
* Transform traditional SOC operations into a Next‑Generation SOC incorporating zero‑trust architecture, predictive threat detection, and advanced analytics.
* Develop and implement a roadmap for SOC engineering tailored to the unique security challenges and regulatory requirements of the APAC region.
* Oversee design, deployment, and optimization of SOC infrastructure (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, threat intelligence).
* Drive innovation in security technologies and ensure SOC stays at industry forefront.
* Establish scalable and resilient SOC architectures for hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.
* Collaborate with threat intelligence teams to identify and mitigate emerging threats specific to APAC.
* Ensure SOC handles advanced persistent threats, ransomware and other sophisticated attack vectors.
* Develop and refine incident response playbooks, ensuring rapid containment and remediation.
* Build and lead a high‑performing SOC engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
* Partner with HR to attract and retain top cybersecurity talent.
* Work closely with global and regional security teams, IT, risk management, and business units to align SOC capabilities.
* Build partnerships with external vendors, technology providers, and industry groups.
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on security strategies and investments.
Required Skills And Experience
* Deep knowledge of SOC technologies (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR, threat intelligence platforms).
* Expertise in AI‑driven security, autonomous systems, and advanced analytics.
* Strong understanding of zero‑trust architecture, cloud security, and hybrid environments.
* Proven experience leading SOC engineering teams and driving large‑scale transformation initiatives.
* Ability to develop and execute strategic roadmaps for next‑generation SOC capabilities.
* Strong stakeholder management and influence skills.
* In‑depth understanding of the APAC cybersecurity landscape, regulations, and compliance requirements.
* Experience in high‑security industries such as finance, healthcare, or technology.
* Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC, or equivalent.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience building and managing AI‑driven SOCs or autonomous security systems.
* Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; strategic and tactical thinking.
