About The Role
I-MED Radiology is seeking two Data Engineer's to design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms that enable access to high-quality, reliable data across the organisation.
Reporting to the Data and Integrations Manager, this role will be a key member of the IT Services team responsible for implementing best-practice data engineering standards, ensuring data security and governance, and delivering robust technical solutions that support I-MED's clinical, operational and commercial decision-making.
You'll work closely with a broad range of stakeholders across business units, including IT Managers, Operations, Commercial, Marketing and external partners, to continuously improve data infrastructure, tooling and processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, build and maintain scalable, high-performing data pipelines and platforms
* Develop automated data ingestion, transformation and loading processes
* Optimise pipelines for performance, reliability and cost efficiency
* Implement monitoring, alerting and lifecycle management for data workflows
* Contribute to data architecture and modelling aligned with business requirements
* Ensure compliance with I-MED security policies and governance frameworks
* Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, clinicians and IT peers
* Diagnose and resolve data pipeline issues and drive continuous improvement
* Contribute to shared engineering standards, documentation and reusable components
About You
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant or related field
* Experience with the Amazon Web Services (AWS) data stack and related technologies
* Proficiency in Python and SQL
* Strong understanding of data ingestion patterns, modelling and platform architectures
* Experience working with healthcare data, integration standards (HL7, DICOM) and healthcare integration engines
* Knowledge of software engineering best practices and DevOps principles
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
