Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Manager to lead the daily operations of our service station and supermarket in Goomboorian. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing staff, driving sales growth, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, operational excellence, and a commitment to integrity and teamwork.
Experience & Qualifications
* AQF Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Associate Degree or higher qualification is essential for eligibility.
* At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a retail management position.
* Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
* Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Sound knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and customer service best practices.
* The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make effective decisions under pressure.
Task and Responsibilities
* Managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the supermarket and service station.
* Leading, training, and supervising staff to maintain a motivated, efficient, and customer-focused team.
* Developing and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets and business growth.
* Monitoring stock levels, managing inventory, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment.
* Maintaining financial records, preparing budgets, and analysing sales and performance reports.
* Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
* Implementing effective merchandising and promotional activities to maximise sales.
* Delivering excellent customer service and resolving issues in a professional manner.
* Reporting to senior management on business performance and contributing to long-term business planning.
