If you're a strong mid-career HR professional ready to step up into a truly influential leadership role, this is the opportunity that will define your career.
The Provedores is a large-scale, regional food service business with multiple sites across the North Coast NSW — proudly employing 200+ staff and contractors. We live our values every day — real relationships, no egos, family vibes, and quality without compromise.
We are growing fast, we think long-term, and we are building the people & safety foundations for the next decade of scale. This role is central to that growth.
Why this role is compelling
* Top quartile salary + negotiable salary packaging + flexible work
* Regional lifestyle, connection, and community — without sacrificing career growth
* Real influence. This isn't HR admin — this is building the roadmap, shaping culture, coaching leaders, and lifting standards
* Family-owned, values-led environment where people matter and ideas actually get adopted
About the Role
You will own and lead the HR and WHS function across a diverse multi-site operation — shaping best practice, maturing systems, supporting leaders, and driving capability uplift. You'll be hands-on, commercial, and working closely with the Executive team to design, implement, and embed a high-performance culture.
Key accountability includes: recruitment, induction, training pathways, industrial & employee relations, safety leadership, WHS systems, auditing frameworks, return-to-work, workforce planning, and supporting the deployment of Employment Hero and continuous improvement initiatives aligned to our strategic business plan.
About You
We are seeking someone who is ready to step into more influence, more autonomy, and more future scope.
You will likely bring:
* 5+ years HR experience in a generalist or business-partner role
* Strong grounding in WHS, IR and contemporary HR practice
* Proven experience supporting leaders and teams in complex, high-activity environments — ideally multi-site
* Strong communication, relationship-first mindset, pragmatic, commercial, and solutions-focused
* Food service, logistics, hospitality or FMCG industry experience is advantageous but not essential
Most importantly, you are someone who wants to build capability, not just manage compliance.
Location + Flexibility
This role is based across the North Coast NSW region, with flexibility around hybrid work and travel between sites. Relocation support is available for the right candidate.
