About the opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Business Design Lead to join our Transformation Office for 24 months Fixed-Term contract. This role is ideal for a Senior Business Analyst with proven leadership capability, working across corporate process improvement, workforce systems, HRIS upgrades, finance, production and enterprise level service design.
The role can be based in Henderson, Western Australia/ Osborne, South Australia.
Responsibilities
* Lead business design activities including business cases, process maps, requirements and user stories.
* Translate business problems into clear, actionable design solutions.
* Coordinate and support 2–3 business analysts/super users.
* Engage stakeholders across production, corporate, workforce, ICT, finance and HR.
* Facilitate workshops, interviews and co-design sessions.
* Work with vendors and technical teams to support business-focused design and implementation.
* Operate in a change heavy transformation environment.
About You
* Senior Business Analyst or Business Design Lead experience.
* Strong stakeholder management capability.
* Experience leading junior BAs (2–3 direct reports).
* Background in transformation, process design or service design.
* Experience running discovery workshops and defining requirements.
* Ability to work across service-based and corporate process programs.
* Experience in complex, multi-program environments.
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
