Our client is seeking a motivated Production Engineer to join their site based team on a family-friendly 8:6 roster. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a significant growth phase, supporting commissioning activities and driving operational readiness for a large-scale mining operation.

About the Role
As a Production Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring safe and efficient ramp-up of the dry plant, with a strong focus on plant performance, reliability, and continuous improvement. Working closely with operations, maintenance, and technical teams, you will contribute to achieving production targets and embedding best practice processes across site.
Key Responsibilities
* Support commissioning and ramp-up activities for the dry plant, ensuring a safe transition into steady-state operations.
* Monitor and optimise plant performance, identifying opportunities to improve throughput, recovery, and equipment utilisation.
* Develop and implement production improvement initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting to operations during commissioning and ongoing production.
* Contribute to operational readiness, including procedures, training, and handover documentation.
* Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
About You
* Degree qualified in Mining, Metallurgical, Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline.
* Previous experience in commissioning and ramp-up of dry processing plants.
* Demonstrated operational mine site experience in a production or technical support role.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse data and drive improvements.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
