Full-Time Dental Assistant Trainee Opportunity
As a dental assistant trainee, you will work in a fast-paced environment providing clinical chairside assistance to dentists and dental therapists. You will also be responsible for preparing and providing equipment for patients according to dental treatment, managing the supply of store items, and assisting with oral health promotion activities.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, working 80 hours per fortnight. You will benefit from business hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, no course costs as the Certificate III course fees are paid for by the employer, valuable on-the-job training, salary packaging benefits, employee benefits including access to discounted gym memberships, health and wellbeing programs, and an employee assistance program.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a genuine desire, commitment, and capacity to undertake a dental assistant traineeship, an understanding of, and genuine interest in, the duties of a dental assistant trainee and the skills required. Previous work experience in a fast-paced environment is desirable, but not mandatory. Work experience, volunteering, or study in the health industry is well regarded.
