We are currently seeking a motivated and reliablefull time Fabricator to join our team working from our factory based in Bassendean. The right candidate will be competent, enthusiastic and work well independently as well as part of a team.
The position involves:
Fabrication and assembly of various aluminium window, door and security products.
Perform daily labour tasks in line with factory objectives and following supervisor instructions.
Responsible for cutting aluminium lengths according to job documentation.
The safe operation of industrial saws, copy routers, drills, rip saws and other power tools to prepare aluminium profiles and parts.
Unpacking deliveries and preparing goods for dispatch
Occasional lifting of large and heavy glass panels
Continuous training and development
Any of the below attributes will be highly regarded but are not essential:
Previous experience with systems from ALSPEC, Capral and G James, Darley
Excellent communication skills, great attention to detail and the ability to work with a team and unsupervised to timeframes and deadlines.
Understanding of Australian Standards for Building (specifically windows, doors and glazing)
Experience in fabrication of high-end products
Physically Fit, healthy and able to lift over 20kgs safely
