DLA Piper is on the lookout for a Senior Associate to join our Litigation and Regulatory team in Brisbane on a 12-month contract. You will work closely with one of our leading litigation and regulatory practitioners and our Brisbane Managing Partner, Sophie Devitt. In addition, you will be part of one of the largest Litigation and regulatory practices in the world with dedicated lawyers working across key global jurisdictions.
We are looking for candidates who are dynamic and motivated, with at least 5 - 8 years plus PQE experience in either a private practice or in-house legal team. You will be a highly effective communicator and a team player. The successful candidate will be exposed to regulatory matters in the financial services industry relating to compliance and risk management issues, particularly for general insurers, intermediaries and insurance brokers and be working across professional indemnity disputes.
