We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced civil engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling, design, specification, and quality assurance of various projects.
About the Role
* Support the Operation through efficient planning and capital cost estimation.
* Lead the design of critical Capital Expenditure projects including fixed infrastructure, civil construction, MIA facilities, in-pit facilities, and water management infrastructure.
* Provide visible leadership, advice, and support to employees and contractors.
* Develop project plans and schedules to support project execution activities including Approval for Expenditure documentation, Scope of Works, technical specifications, tender documentation, and cost estimates.
* Liaise with stakeholders to ensure operational and functional aspects are considered in the planning phase to achieve positive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage project timelines and ensure scheduled works align with project & stakeholder commitments.
* Lead engineering designs from concept to detailed design and execution.
Requirements
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence & liaise with key stakeholders.
* High-level leadership skills with the ability to set clear expectations to the team through clear & concise communication.
* High-level attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
* Sound technical and commercial understanding of civil engineering and project management.
* Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
