Assistant Thrift Shop Manager Role
This leadership position is responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening relationships with the local community, staff members, and partners.
* Sales Growth:
Process donations, manage stock levels, support promotions, and approve pricing adjustments to maximize revenue.
* Customer Service:
Deliver high-quality customer experience by responding to needs, training staff, and promoting opportunities to engage with The Salvation Army mission.
* Store Operations:
Support efficient store management by supervising volunteers, coordinating rosters and attendance, assisting recruitment programs, and ensuring smooth operations during manager's absence.
Maintain accurate financial and administrative processes including daily cash reconciliation, banking, finance and sales records, and building collaborative relationships with community and partner agencies.
Promote a safe and secure workplace by upholding WHS standards, recording incidents, maintaining cleaning and security protocols, and ensuring the store is secure at opening and closing.
