About This Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Career Development Specialist. As part of this role, you will work closely with participants to explore their career goals and aspirations, providing tailored support and guidance to help them achieve meaningful employment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. They will also have a solid understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability, injury, or health conditions, and be skilled in developing client-focused employment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Source and create career opportunities for clients, matching them to suitable and sustainable roles.
* Champion inclusive employment and workforce diversity, focusing on people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
* Engage and work alongside employers to address skill shortages through role carving and inclusive recruitment.
* Broker work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
* Promote Breakthru as a trusted provider supporting people with disability to achieve career goals.

Requirements:
* Qualifications in Employment or Human Services (desired).
* Proven ability to meet KPIs and manage workload effectively.
* Strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
* Skilled in providing tailored support and developing client-focused employment plans.
* Current Driver's License (essential).
