The Company On behalf of an established company that everybody knows, we are seeking a Payroll Officer to join the team of devoted and loyal staff for a short term period of 2 months initially. This role is based in Western Sydney with parking available onsite and offers flexibility to WFH 2-3 days per week. For this role, we are seeking applicants who are available immediately or on short notice with experience specifically using Chris21/iChris. The Role For this position we are on the lookout for an engaging candidate with strong oral and written communication and strong EBA interpretation experience. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your day to day responsibilities will include: Processing a high-volume weekly payroll through iChris. Assisting with onboarding new employees and terminations. Ensure accurate payment of wages, superannuation and government taxes Manage any payroll related queries coming from staff to head office Processing, reconciling and clearing month end figures Calculate annual leave and sick leave provision Assist with payroll reporting, including year-end Your Profile This is a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Officer to develop their career.
