Job Description
* This position involves providing in-home care and support services to clients.
* The majority of shifts will involve domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation for our clients.
* Providing personal care and supporting clients with daily routines is a significant part of the job.
* We are seeking individuals who can work unsupervised while maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.
* Social and recreational support is also an essential aspect of this role. This may include accompanying clients on community outings or simply having friendly conversations to help alleviate feelings of loneliness.
In addition to these tasks, transporting clients safely to appointments or social activities using your own vehicle may be required on occasion. It's also possible that you'll need to run errands or provide general support to enhance the client's quality of life. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills as well as patience empathy understanding positive attitude towards vulnerable people.
You must hold current certifications in CPR first aid occupational health safety (OHSA) Child Protection training working with vulnerable populations (if applicable).
