About the Role:
The Software Tester is responsible for designing, developing, and running automated tests for our OSS/BSS stack, as well as manual testing of developed features. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills to ensure software meets our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios to validate functionality
* Performing manual testing of software to identify bugs and defects
* Developing automated tests, such as unit, integration, and acceptance tests to improve efficiency and accuracy
* Analysing test results for database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability to drive improvement initiatives
* Preparing reports on software testing to inform stakeholders
The ideal person will have/be:
* A problem solver with excellent attention to detail
* Excellent oral and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
* A self-starter who can manage priorities and their time effectively to meet deadlines
* Ability to work with different stakeholders both internally and externally to achieve shared goals
Requirements include a degree in computer systems design or computer science, and/or equivalent work experience in software quality assurance.
