Purpose of the Role
The purpose of the role is to improve the wellbeing of children by strengthening their connections to family and culture through effective leadership of the Strong in Family & Culture (SFC) program.
The Program Manager is responsible for the operational delivery of the SFC program, ensuring children experience safe, meaningful and culturally strong connections that support improved wellbeing outcomes. The role provides leadership and support to team members, works collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders, and ensures the voices of children and families remain central to all practice.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Ensure all children participating in the SFC program are safely connected to their family and culture and experience positive, measurable improvements in wellbeing.
* Lead the implementation of the Strong in Family & Culture program to a high standard, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
* Ensure record keeping, data management and administrative systems operate effectively, producing accurate and timely reports.
* Provide leadership, supervision and support to team members to enable high-quality service delivery.
* Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to enhance children's experiences, ensure professional practice, and explore alternative opportunities and outcomes.
* Program Manage SFC program resources and oversee quality assurance processes.
* Represent CQID in relevant community, sector and stakeholder forums.
* Actively contribute to advancing the reputation and values of CQID.
* Participate in and contribute to CQID's compliance obligations, including ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and Human Services Quality Standards (HSQS).
* At all times, work in accordance with CQID's Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures.
* Undertake additional duties as directed by the General Manager, Children Services.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
* Current C Class Queensland Driver's Licence
* Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate, or willingness to obtain
Desirable
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Services or a related field
* Qualifications, training or demonstrated knowledge in Child Protection
* Experience delivering services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
* Experience in client engagement, case collaboration and multidisciplinary practice

* Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage Note: In accordance with Section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), this position is an Identified role. * Competency in Microsoft Office applications
* Physical capacity to undertake the inherent requirements of the role
